Donald Trump just managed to make his digital trading card fiasco even stupider
Nothing says ‘I’m only pretending to run for President to distract everyone from the fact that I’m going to prison’ like selling digital trading cards or your own face. But that’s where we are with Donald Trump. Again.
After his own quarterly filings revealed that his initial round of digital trading cards brought in relatively little money, Trump turned around this week and launched a new round of them.
Now Trump has announced that he’s number one, or something: “My New Trump Digital Trading Cards Series 2 is the Number One Collection in the World. It must be that people love the art. A great honor!”
Who is going to be the one to break it to Donald Trump that there is no such thing as digital trading card sales charts? He’s just decided that he’s number one, even as this whole thing is starting to feel like number two.
