Pete Buttigieg drops the hammer on Lauren Boebert
There’s a rule that says you should never get into a battle of wits if you have no wits. Well, if that’s not a rule, it should be. And it’s something that Lauren Boebert is now probably wishing she’d known before trying to take on someone as intelligent as Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.
Boebert tweeted that “Buttigieg is running this country’s rail system like a toddler playing with his first toy train set.” Well okay then.
But Buttigieg replied to her with this: “If you care about derailments, we need to talk about your House GOP Freedom Caucus budget proposal that would cut railroad safety inspections.” Yeah, we’re awarding this one to Pete Buttigieg.
