Donald Trump goes off the deep end after his canceled Iowa rally is upstaged
Donald Trump canceled his Iowa rally yesterday, repeatedly blaming a supposed “tornado warning” (it was actually a tornado watch). Even if the cancelation was legitimate, no one on the internet seems to believe him, amid speculation that he may have canceled it for fear Ron DeSantis would outdraw him at his own Iowa rally.
DeSantis’ rally ended up being debacle, with a photo of DeSantis caught mid-laugh (or mid-sneeze or something) going viral on social media. But Trump nonetheless got upstaged.
Trump is less than happy about it, melting down on his social media site about how “Rob DeSanctimonious” is “dropping like a rock.” Wait, Rob? Is this supposed to be some new nickname, or does Trump honestly think Ron DeSantis’ name is Rob now?
