Criminally indicted George Santos would probably like to have this tweet back

House Republican George Santos was criminally indicted by the Department of Justice on Tuesday, meaning he’ll stand criminal trial, and if convicted, he’ll go to prison. The DOJ only tends to bring charges when it feels it has a winning case, which is why federal criminal charges result in convictions about 90% of the time.

In other words, Santos is likely going to prison. Which makes it ironic that his last tweet before his own indictment was a retweet of someone who called for Dr. Anthony Fauci to go to prison.

We all know for a fact that Dr. Fauci, who has saved numerous lives and has never done anything wrong, will obviously never end up in prison. Yet George Santos, who just called for Fauci to go to prison, is now very likely headed to prison himself.
