Donald Trump bottoms out
Earlier this week new polling revealed that a majority of Americans support the criminal prosecution of Trump, and that just 23% of Americans think Trump is being treated unfairly and did nothing wrong. These are devastating numbers for Trump in the court of public opinion.
Now Trump is doing what he does best: bathing himself in delusion. Trump is claiming on his own failed social network that polls show 80% of Americans think he’s done nothing wrong and is being treated unfairly. He’s not citing any specific poll, because no such poll exists (unless he had catturd conduct it for him again).
It’s remarkable how thoroughly Donald Trump is relying on pure delusion these days as a “strategy.” The worse his numbers get, the better he claims his numbers are getting. He may think he’s trying to fool the public, but he’s really only fooling himself.
